Environmental protesters are blockading a big shell gas station in Birmingham. They say they're angry about the impact of the oil giant's work on the environment. They also believe it threats people in third world countries.
Note: In composing news you should mention 5W + 1 H: what, where, when, who, which, how. You also need to add eye-witnesses’ statements.

The text above is called a memo. A memo or memorandum is a type of communication commonly used in business. It is used as a written reminder or to convey a short proposal or some basic information.
Memos are sent to colleagues and co-workers. They differ from letters as they are more informal and do not require a salutation or a closure statement as in business letters.
Here are the parts of a memo:

Always state that the document is a memorandum. (header)
To:
Use the person’s name. Courtesy titles are not used.
From:
Use your name. Use your title and position only if the weight of your position is necessary.
Date:
Month (spelled out, Day, Year
SUBJECT:
A brief statement of the subject matter
Body:
A brief message about a single topic. The body of a memo normally has three parts, written using a deductive approach: (1) why memo is being written, (2) information conveyed and (3) suggested future action.
